Girl Scouts

This year, we have opted to join with Girl Scouts as our core program for girls K-5th grade. Girl Scouting offers the same character-building focus, embedded in a fabulous array of life skills, with badges showing welcome recognition of achievements. We are loving the partnership and support, and we are finding that it appeals to a wider range of girls.

Each of our troops now has about a dozen members, with new girls coming along frequently. We are learning so much from the cookie sales about financial literacy, business ethics, entrepreneurship, customer service, goal setting, and so much more. The enthusiasm is beyond anything I imagined.
