Program
One caring adult. One consistent relationship. A lifetime of difference.
Our Mentorship program pairs youth with carefully screened, trained adult mentors who commit to at least one year of consistent, one-on-one connection. Mentors don't replace parents or teachers — they're an additional caring adult in a young person's life, showing up consistently to listen, guide, and encourage.
Mentorship at EPIC means shared activities, honest conversations, goal-setting, and simply being present. It's about building a relationship of trust that gives youth a safe space to dream, process, and grow.
Many of our mentor-mentee relationships continue well beyond the formal commitment period — because once you invest in a young person's life, you're family.
I started as a mentor thinking I would make a difference in a kid's life. I didn't realize that kid would change mine just as much.
— James K., Mentor
